I am a Bay Area-born Pisces with affinities for early childhood, mochi, and recycling. Relentless maker, dancer, journal keeper. My first love is markmaking. Later came paper, collage, and printmaking. As a female descendant of Highlanders and Islanders, I create work as complex and layered as my own identity, carefully composed of many parts to make a whole. Manipulating two-dimensional images is a deeply centering somatic experience for me, as well as a unique way to experience land forms, to meditate on a sense of place, and ultimately to find my way home again and again.
